Smokey Chicken Wings Step By Step
- Beat 2 eggs and add 2 to 3 oz of Texas Pete, and .5 oz of Apple cider vinegar
- Cut wings and allow to soak in mixture for 1-2 hours
- Blend a mixture of All-purpose flour, black pepper and SGF Smoked Redand Kosher salt
- Using egg mixture as a binder, bread the wings and allow to stand for 30 minutes
- Fry Chicken till the breading is golden brown
- Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake at 325 for 15 minutes
- Blend 1 part Texas Pete to I part melted butter
- Remove chicken from oven and partially cover with mixture leaving 20-30 % uncovered
- Return to oven for an additional 5- 8 minutes or until bones remove easily
