Smokey Chicken Wings Step By Step

  • Beat 2 eggs and add 2 to 3 oz of Texas Pete, and .5 oz of Apple cider vinegar
  • Cut wings and allow to soak in mixture for 1-2 hours
  • Blend a mixture of All-purpose flour, black pepper and SGF Smoked Red and Kosher salt
  • Using egg mixture as a binder, bread the wings and allow to stand for 30 minutes
  • Fry Chicken till the breading is golden brown
  • Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake at 325 for 15 minutes
  • Blend 1 part Texas Pete to I part melted butter
  • Remove chicken from oven and partially cover with mixture leaving 20-30 % uncovered
  • Return to oven for an additional 5- 8 minutes or until bones remove easily
